In that, Federer lost his match in the second round to Stakhovsky in 2013, then he played well in last two tournaments. Unfortunately, he suffered from the loss of two consecutive finals. Since 2013, Federer had won only one Grand Slam tournament title, it is Australian Open 2017.

So, Federer may like this opportunity to beat Milos Raonic in this quarterfinals and he likes to prove that he didn’t out from the from of his tennis.

Roger’s been the best player I think this year, hands down, when he’s been on the court. But it’s not about six months or whatnot, it comes down to Wednesday, one day. So I just got to try to find a way to try to be better on that day.”
Federer, a man didn’t drop a single set from the first round of this tournament. Also, he is forcibly looking for the eighth title who already lost this as continuously in 2014 and 2015. So, he keenly looking forward to the good games on all upcoming in this tournament.
Before this game, Federer said that “I feel like I’m rested enough. I’ve had not the most toughest matches. I can look at this quarterfinal in a totally relaxed fashion. Physically I’m not fighting anything like last year with my knee. I’m ready to go this afternoon if I have to, which is great, but I don’t have to. I think that’s a great bonus.”
Federer vs Raonic is the second match on Centre Court which begins around 02:30 pm BST, 09:30 am EDT. It may vary based on the first match between Murray vs Querrey.
