Rafael Nadal will meet Donald Young in the second round on Gentlemen’s single at Wimbledon 2017. Nadal had a good play against all competitors in the French Open last month. He didn’t play any other competitive games after the 2017 French Open final win.
Nadal has totally played 14 matches in this year, he won 13 and lost one. After 2017 French Open, he played his final match in this year again to Stan Wawrinka. It is the 10th French Open win by Nadal.
He won Wimbledon crown lastly in 2010 and so he looks to win his third in this 2017. He played two Grand Slam finals and won one in this 2017 and as mentioned above that he is waiting for this second grand slam win. He lost his 2017 Australian Open against to Roger Federer.
In this Wimbledon 2017, the Spain tennis player Nadal defeated John Millman in the first round. It is second round against to the USA tennis player Donald Young. It is easy for Nadal to defeat him in this round as first.
The Young American tennis player had also played three qualifier rounds in the past Wimbledon (2009, 2010, and 2013). Apart from this, he played second round and lost that game in Wimbledon 2016 against Lucas Pouille.
Last year, Nadal didn’t participate on Wimbledon and also didn’t performed well on other grand slam tournaments in 2016. He lost his game in the first round of Australian Open and lost in the third round of 2016 French Open and fourth round at the US Open.
But, he is back now with most impressive wins on recent matches especially on both Grand Slam tournaments which played recently in this year.
