Philippines Earthquake recorded 5.8 magnitude which struck in south Mindanao Island on August 5 (Saturday). The United State Geological Survey said that the quake’s epicenter was 21 miles east of the General Santos city. Around 600,000 people have there in that location.
Also, the record of USGS said that the earthquake was recorded as 46.2 mile deep, though the European quake agency said that it only 6.2 miles deep.
It was initially reported that as a magnitude 6.0 which stuck at 08:30 am (00.30 GMT) as per the record of USGS. While the magnitude 5.8 quake is moderate and it is capable of causing damage.
